It is fully compatible with BASIC !
I have the pleasure to announce we have now a full program working under Basic Bascom for it, touch screen, sd-card special fonts ...everything is working !

Works great with new library
Touch works without any modifications using the latest library. Just make sure you change the, #define TOUCH_ORIENTATION to LANDSCAPE and replace the 32s with 50 in myGLCD(ITDB32S,38,39,40,41) , in the calibration program. Follow the calibration instructions and you are set.

Update RE: iBoard Pro
Beware: To use this screen with the iBoard Pro you must bypass the 500mA fuse on the 5V circuit of the iBoard Pro.

Great board, but BEWARE with iBoard Pro
BEWARE, when using this screen with the iBoard Pro the board must be supplied with an external source of 3.3V power in addition to its regular power source. This screen overdraws the 3.3V regulator on the iBoard Pro and the board will not function without an additional external source...

Otherwise this is a great screen and it works well with the current UTFT library including touch and calibration with the following lines for the iBoard Pro: (see the UTFT documentation for info).

Good product and touch does work
Good display.
Touch does work with Henning's UTouch library. The X and Y are transposed and only scaled to a 320 x 240 display. The transposing is easy:
y = myTouch.getX();
x = myTouch.getY();
The scaling just takes a little bit of coding to fix, like so (from Henning's Quickdraw example):
myGLCD.drawPixel ((x*800)/240, (y*480)/320);
It's probably trivial to fix the library but it's beyond me.

Graphics Great, Touch unsupported
This screen is great as a diplay module, but out of the box the touch doesn't work and is not compatible with ITDB02_Touch. The screen needs calibrating and there is no arduino code to be able to perform this calibration as the calibration sketch is not designed for this unit and Henning Karlsen is not planning to recode it at this time.
